Our bodies are designed to fold and unfold, fitting together in ways that seem only accessible to small children. Our breath and posture influence our psychology, meaning we can influence how we
feel by altering how we sit, stand, move and breathe.
Applying principles of the Tao, Kundalini breath and Katonah Yoga wisdom, we can open up space for our organs, increase awareness and heighten
our own life experience by becoming deeply present.
The Yoga Gillian teaches is accessible and contemporary and focuses on opening up space within your body while giving you insight into your true being. With 20+ years’ of teaching experience
behind her, she continues to share her upbeat, modern yoga philosophy with the community. Gillian hopes to inspire others with not just her knowledge,
but her humorous observations and – most importantly – by embodying a genuine desire for the wellbeing of others and the ability of yoga to positively transform lives.
Gillian has a background in sport physiology,
has completed extensive traditional yoga studies (including Ashtanga E-RYT 200) with Shankara Darby, David Swensen and Niki Doane and practiced Hatha Yoga for nearly 30 years. Her latest education in
the extraordinary world of Katonah Yoga with Abbie Galvin and Alex Sharry, has shaped and influenced the content of this
